Chris Burkes

I have been in the insurance business since the fall on 2006. Events conspired to lead me to this most important avenue of service in our society, our senior citizens. I am licensed as an individual and a corporation. We serve clients in Mississippi, as well as in many other states. I have extensive knowledge of the Medicare program and the insurance products available for its beneficiaries.

I am very grateful for the trust placed in myself and The Burkes Group by so many unique and valued clients, and I am most proud of the wonderful relationships that have developed over the years through the course of our doing business. Right now, here in the fall of 2024, we have started the steps to grow our footprint of sales, service and support to this special segment of society. As an agency owner and MBA, I am leading our focus to get the business structure growing in a sound direction, while working to maintain the quality that our clients have grown to expect and deserve.

I am a lifelong resident of Mississippi. I attended the University of Southern Mississippi and Belhaven University. I have both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Business Administration. I am married to my high school sweetheart, Caitlin. We have two boys, both currently pursuing their education at St. Joseph Catholic in Madison, MS… Brandon a senior (class of 2025!) and Ian just coming in (class of 2030!)

As a dedicated agent at the Burkes Group, I am passionate about helping individuals navigate their healthcare options and ensuring they find the coverage that best suits their needs. With a strong commitment to service, I strive to make the process as seamless and stress-free as possible for our clients. Beyond my professional life, I enjoy immersing myself in nature through fishing, gardening, and various outdoor activities. These hobbies allow me to unwind and bring a sense of balance to my life, which in turn, helps me better serve you the client.

Matt Farmer

Matt was born and raised in central Mississippi. After spending several years in Memphis, Matt returend to Mississippi with a desire to help seniors. He has served the Medicare community for over 10 years, and his attention to our clients needs has made him a cornerstone of The Burkes Group.

When Matt’s not busy, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Julie, his stepsons, Oliver and Hollis and three black cats Bagheera, Zale and Rubin.
